So many of our precious possessions have just come to pieces in our hands. We did not intend to break them, but we were clumsy or careless or had our minds on something else, and where there used to be a lovely and singular treasure, there are now only the shattered fragments

W Decoux and C Dove: We are homeowners at 2348 False Cape Road in Carova and are strongly opposed to any commercial development in th off road areas.

Candice Lavra: I am a seasonal resident of Carova Beach. I grew up on Knotts Island and currently reside in Pasquotank County. As a seasonal resident who works in Carova and Corolla I feel that there is already enough traffic that the insufficient road system can not support. Not only am I against all commercial development in the four wheel drive communities I feel that no future residential building should be permitted until proper drainage and runoff systems are put in to place. There is too much uneducated tourism that is allowed to roam free causing most of these roads to be impassible after the smallest amount of rainfall. If regulations and improvements are not made to traffic access trails and established development there is no way these communities will have an organized hopeful future to thrive upon. I do believe nature and development can thrive side by side but there is no room for nature when the only thing beside you are houses. Please do not allow my home beach, the places I truly love, be taken away from me lot by lot, structure by structure.

Carolyn Holmes: I am an owner at 1558 Sandfiddler in Seagull subdivision, and I am strongly opposed to commercial development in this Northern Outer Banks.
